Slow down, many people feel the same way. It’s all in your head. You need a confidence boost. You already have the competence or they would not have hired you in the first place.

If you make a mistake it’s not the end of the world. If you don’t have the answer the question that is alright. You don’t have to know all the answers. That said, you need to be smart enough to ask questions and humble enough to ask other people for help. You were hired for your strengths. You’re not expected to know everything because the rest can be learned on the job. You need to have confidence in yourself and trust the person who hired you made right choice. They thought you were the best among all other candidates. See failure as a starting point to final victory, not an end the game.

Keep track of your achievements on your mobile device via Evernote. That way you can always get a quick glance of your highlights if you need a moral boost. You should also create a support system at work. DO NOT mistake a support system for a click.

Clicks get into office politics and rumors. This is the last thing you want to get into. Try to avoid Mr. Or Mrs. It’s always Monday. Those are the people who always feel and act like its Monday even on a beautiful Friday. Seek out positive people in the office for your support system.

So I will be the first to admit when I make a mistake. It seems I was wrong when it comes to the multitasking apps bar on your iOS device.  To be fair I am not the only one that has been wrong about this subject.

What I have always heard and have taught other people is that the apps on the multitasking bar are all running and slowing it down. They are using the device’s memory and killing the battery life just like Android. You should turn them all off.

This is 100% Wrong. While it may make you feel better to  turn these off it does not however save or hurt battery life.  The iOS multitasking bar does not display all running apps. It is not like the task manager you see on the PC. Instead it is a list of recently used apps. So you don’t have to worry about managing background tasks on iOS. When you press the home button, iOS will tell the app to quit. When it quits, it stops using CPU time and the battery. The memory the app was using is recovered. The Mail and Phone apps run at all times.

iOS apps 5 states of execution:

1. Not running – the app has been terminated or has not been launched.
2. Inactive – the app is open but not doing anything, receiving any data or sending any
3. Active – the app is in use
4. Background – the app is no longer on-screen but still running.  Background Apps go the Suspended state in a few seconds. Unless it is coded to ask for a background task which will extend the time before it goes to a Suspended state. Navigation apps are one such app that is coded to do this. Some apps stay in the background forever until you kill it. There are five of these. They are:

• Apps that play audio, TuneInRadio
• Apps that track your location in the Background, such as GSP apps
• Apps that listen for incoming VOIP calls, such as Talkatone & Skype
• Newsstand apps
• Apps that receive continuous updates from an external accessory in the Background such as docks with matching apps.

5. Suspended – the app is paused. This is when you switch from app to app. The app is still resident in memory but that is so it can resume more quickly when you go back to it. This state does not kill battery life and will be completely removed from memory over time or if the memory is needed

The multitasking bar always shows what apps were recently used apps regardless of what state the app is in and currently Active App (the one you are using) does not show up on the multitasking bar.

This holiday season try to remember that not all gifts come in a box.

1st I would like to say I am not a hater. I’ve been listening to Drake before he was all over the radio. Way before he got shot in the back and became paralyzed. I knew Drake when he went by the name Jimmy. Unfortunately Drake has taken the formula that Sean “whatever my nick name is now” Combs created for Bad Boy and ran with it.

Short history lesson. There was a sick rap group known as Children of the Korn. The group was Killer Cam, Murder Mase and a big L. Each member was very talented. The group was well known in the underground. Funny thing happened. Murder Mase got signed but came out singing and with a new name, Ma$e. The formula worked. The money came in. The women loved him but he lost the respect of his peers and the underground. His career was short lived.

The point is, Drake is making that money by doing what works for his target audience. Even though that is not what got him on, it is what is blowing up his bank account. So expect more of it. That said, flows have never been an issue for him. This lyricist can spit with the best of them. The singing was overkill during his first outing. Thankfully someone on his camp must have told him the same thing. The auto tune is at a minimum this time around.

At least that is what you will think until you get to the second half of the album. It’s like Drake relapses back to the old format. Long auto tuned singing notes that have you wondering why are you losing minutes of your life listening to him. I hate to say it but over all this is a great R&B album. No that was not a typo. There is no way this can be classified as rap.

Over my dead body:
It’s ok. Drake tries to start the track out with power and strong lyrics to set the mood but what it does is remind you that he is far from a powerful MC such as a 50 Cent in his prime or a strong lyricist like Kanye West.

Shot for me:
Mix of singing and emo rap. Yet for now this formula works for Drake. This song will be all over the airwaves by Mid December in the big markets and February for the small ones. I’m talking to you Morgantown, WV.

Crew Love ft. The Weeknd
This song is more sample than anything else. Seems it is a demo for the singer The Weeknd. Drake does not rap his one verse until the middle of the song.

Take Care ft. Rihanna
This upbeat 80′s themed song is very well written and Drake’s duet works well with Rihanna. You’ll find yourself bobbing to the tune relatively fast. Radio hit stamp of approval.

Marvin’s Room
Everyone should have heard this song by now. It is the first of its kind. The emotion and words used have been felt by most people at one time or another. JoJo killed the remix though and her version is better than the original. Listen to it on YouTube below.

Underground Kings
This is the old Drake from Degrassi. The speed of the flow. The witty jabs. The high voice cracks. Great song and I found myself wondering why the whole album was not like this.

We’ll be fine
Drake does not play with words here. He is clearly sending verbal subliminal shots at someone. Too bad whoever it is will laugh it off.

Make me proud ft. Niki Minaj
Well done collaboration. Nothing really special. You’d expect more from the title and artist on here but at the end of the day it’s a good song.

Lord knows ft. Rick Ross
This is the best song on this album. Produced by Just Blaze so you don’t have that soap opera feel that is all over the album. Rick Ross drops one of his tightest rhymes in a long time. It was short on ad-lib and high on substance. We have not heard this Ross since Hustling. Drake as well goes hard. As hard as possible for him anyway.

Doing it wrong ft. Stevie Wonder
Waste of a talented person’s name in the credits. Stevie does not sing. He just plays his harmonica. This song is nothing short of a chore to listen to.

The Real Her ft. Lil Wayne & Andre 3000
Andre 3000 saves this song from the skip button. In fact, I’ve found myself skipping to just his part.

HYFR ft. Lil Wayne
This song is unlike anything else on the album. No rhyme or reason. It is just flow after flow with no connection to the previous lines. Somehow the chaos works out and makes for an alright song.

Look What you’ve done
This song is a touching letter from Drake to his family members. It was very well done. The addition of a sample of his mother near the end of the song is reminiscent of what Jay-Z did on the Black Album with his own mother.

Practice
This song is sounds like it was done just for practice. The beat is weak at best. Unfortunately Drake’s loyalty will have us listening to his best friend and mediocre producer Noah “40″ Shebib’s beats for a while.

The Ride
The song seems like the old Kayne West that did ‘Through the Wire’ was working overtime on the boards to produce this track. The flow Drake drops is heartfelt and reflective of his state of mind at the moment.

Bonus Tracks:
The Motto ft. Lil Wayne
This song is garbage in a landfill. They are going for Hyphy but end up with a gumbled assortment of sounds. This beat is trash. Drake’s flow is manure. Lil Wayne’s flow has a nice cadence but nothing else. Luckily this track is one long chorus and each person only has one short crappy verse.

Hate Sleeping Alone
I really can not say anything bad about this song. It’s a good balance of auto signing and signature emo rap about a guys insecurities.

Best lines on the album also reflect the tone of the album:

I’m going to say this once and once only: The past is the past. Discretion is very important in the real world. Not everyone needs to know your every move and action. Take a step back from FourSquare, Twitter and Facebook. Social networking sites and relationships don’t mix well at all. If you are gullible to believe that your partner has no secretes, than you can stop reading now and head back to Neverland. Tell Tinkerbell I said hello.

As an adult you learn not to over share. You don’t announce to the room when you have to potty anymore. Guess what, women still do this and go in groups to the rest room. So it can be very challenging for them not to share everything and expect the same. Women think that talking it out the best way to fix a problem which sometimes can lead to more problems. You might not like what you learn when you “get it all out there.”

Some things in relationships are better left unsaid. Relationship TMI just ends up hurting the relationship not helping it. Take note women: Not everything needs to discussed, dissected and analyzed with a conversation.

That said, please understand that I am talking about TMI and it’s not the same thing as deliberately lying by omission. If the perfect storm of you being out of town for work, over drinking at a lounge, your friends left you and someone of the happens to miraculously show up to give you a ride to your hotel room. That needs to be shared ASAP. If the ex calls you out the blue for a memory lane conversation, you should share that too. The information is going to hurt the relationship and lead to some uncomfortable interrogating questions. Every bodies BS Meter will be on so Answer the questions honestly and completely. The last thing you want is for things to trickle out little by little because they will wonder what else are you keeping from them. As we all know mistrust and jealousy are the quickest way short of breaking up to end a relationship.

I’m all for honesty but somethings things are are not my business. If fact, once you knows certain things about a persons past you will not remember who they are in the present. The last thing you need in is a distracted person in a relationship. That’s when friends become the one that have more say in your relationship than you do. Here are some Relationship TMI women should avoid. This is just my short list.

Your Katy Perry phase
Listen closely women; Do not let your partner know of the experimental experiences you had unless you’re ready to discus it in detail and are ready to have another go at it this time with him there too. Every man has that threesome fantasy. You letting us know that you have already been with a women means half the job of convincing you should be done. Be prepaid to get nag often about this, more so close to our birthday, valentine’s and Christmas.

If you’re sexy and you know it clap your hands
Look, we know you’re hot. That’s part of the reason we are with you. No need to remind us each time by letting us know about each compliment you receive. If you are dating someone with trust issues then news of that free drink might end up costing a lot later on. Its not that we don’t trust you. We just don’t trust any other male.

Case of the ex
Guys don’t care about who your ex was, what they liked, how they dressed, where you two went or what they hated. None of that. Bringing up an ex repeatedly makes you sound like you’re not over the relationship. Leave the past in the past.

What’s your number?
In the “What’s Your Number?” game there is never a winner. If you are unable to avoid playing, try your best to relate how you are not your number. A mature man will respect the fact that you’re an adult no matter how big or small it may be within reason of course.

The camera loves me.
It is all fun with sex videos and sexting until it all goes wrong. Not everyone can be trusted once they are no longer with leave. I say leave the porn to the pros unless you’re prepared to get the TmZ treatment should the footage leaks.

I was having a talk with an ex about things that women do to pretty much end their good relationships because they are trying to keep their good relationship going. Its crazy when you think about it. Its working so why try to fix it? These are what we came up with as the biggest mistake women do that cause their relationship to self destruct.

Bite your tongue
You have an issue with us doing something that you don’t like. You don’t say anything so we keep doing it. One day you just go off on us. We think your crazy because it seems like your blow up came out of nowhere. Or worse you start to act distant so we do the same. Result: We grow apart & end the relationship.

Trying to date your mate
You are in a happy relationship. Its been a few months. You notice that you two are staying home more and more. You used to find fun things to do now its pop corn and Netflix. Now all you two do is stay at home, make dinner and watch a movie. But that is normal. Just relax, not every time you are together has to be night out on the town for dinner and a movie. Don’t start coming up with a million things for you two to do. Going out once in a while is fine but honestly the courtship is over. A good compromise is a date night once a week.

You’re my whole world
You were incredibly independent when I met you. Now you’re like an extra accessory. Your boyfriend should not be your whole world. A big part yes but not the whole thing. I would say 70% devoted to relationship & 30% to friends. I need time to hang out with the fellas and you should spend time with your friends. There is a big line between companionship and suffocation. If you are unsure where you stand, just ask.

No pressure
Remember when you started dating. You could not keep your hands off each other and went at it like rabbits. Now it seems you have to schedule time to get some. This a problem. At some point something changed. Nothings worse than having sex rationed. No pressure but time needs to be made on the regular.

Let’s get ready to rumble
I am a walking contradiction. I love to stay home but also love to go out. The point is, I’m not like anyone you know. Just like the current person you are with is not like anyone else. The worse thing you could do is bring your baggage with you to a relationship. Comparing relationships and the person you are with is a no no. You’re in a relationship with them for a reason. You’re not in “that” relationship because it didn’t work. You’re not with “that” person because things didn’t work out. Live in this relationship not the last one. Don’t start saying things like “my ex was like this.” We are not your ex and we know that but if insist of reminding us, we could become your new ex.

They reminisce over you
It takes a whole lot courage to muster up the strength to say “I love you” for the first time to someone. It feels even more amazing to hear it said back the first time. The funny thing is over time we forget this truth. We stop saying it every day and at the end of every call. We stop sending sweet texts throughout the day. Don’t be that couple. Reminders of how you feel are important in a relationship, so don’t slow that down no matter how busy you get.

I’ve heard so many ideas from women about why men do the things they do. Some are really crazy but other hypotheses are very believable. Trying to explain why men cheat, hide their emotions or just don’t listen to women is an incredibly difficult task. That however does not mean it can’t be done, to some degree. The problem is that since that degree is so vast it leaves room to grow myths. After awhile these myths start to become fact for some people. The following are myths that most women believe but yet false.

1st date desert
If a woman gives up the goods on day one; she also gives up her right to be respected. This is almost a myth. 90% of men will not seriously date a women that is willing to give it up so fast. The reason this is a myth is because not all men feel this way.

Where to?
Women think that all men get offended if she happens to know where they are going and can provide him with clear directions when he’s lost. I can’t live without a GPS. So, if we’re lost and you know how to get to our location please speak up.

All I wanna do is zoom-a-zoom-zoom-zoom and a boom-boom
Just because it is a fact that we think about sex at least once every 3.5 minutes does not mean that is all we want. Sometimes a guy just wants to relax and watch a game or a movie. There are however some guys who only want sex, just like there are some women who only want sex sometimes. All I’m saying is sex is highly important to us but that’s not all we want.

Headboard Count
This is a tough one. While men don’t want to be with someone that has a history of sleeping around; they also understand they are not going to be dating a virgin. If you’re lets say 20 she will have slept with at least three people. In this day & age I’m being generous with the age and amount of partners. The fact is, we care but prefer not knowing.

1st to plate is…
I know women are taught to shy away from approaching a man but listen up ladies; men are not always observant of what is going on. We might miss your smile at the end of the bar. It’s ok and we very much welcome it if you make the first move.

She got her own
I love an independent successful women that can do it on her own. As long as she is not always reminding me that she does not me. That can suck and play with our considerable large egos. It’s not that we don’t like independent woman. It’s that we are men; we need to feel like we can provide even if that means going Dutch once in a while.

Real men don’t act like Drake
I hear this all the time “men show no emotion.” I can 100% disagree and explain why this myth is still around. It’s Nature Vs. Nurture all over again. Parents raise little boys to man up while Little girls get treated with care. There are however exceptions to this standard. Single mothers raising boys and if the boy has many siblings that are girls. These men when adults tend to be more able to express their feelings. If neither of these cases happen then the man is unable to deal with emotions since they never had to. So they just shut off. That is where the myth came from.

Enough with the lips moving and all the words
Men are usually very poor communicators. This is true for the same reasons covered in Real men don’t act like Drake above. Only difference is that this is not a myth. All men hate garbage bagging and covering the same thing over and over. We can communicate but not if it’s just going to be one big nag fest. I know my faults and don’t need them brought up every conversation. Nor do I need to be reminded of what I did wrong last time. That is why we don’t talk.
